Potes is distinguished by its picturesque stone bridges spanning the Quivieso and Deva rivers and its imposing 15th-century fortified tower, the Torre del Infantado, which now houses municipal exhibition halls with panoramic rooftop battlements. Cobbled alleys wind through the medieval Barrio del Sol, lined with ancestral stone mansions bearing carved coats of arms.
