Natural Wonder
Bufones de Pría
A fascinating natural phenomenon along the coast where the erosive effect of sea and rain on limestone rock creates cracks connecting the sea to the cliff surface. When waves hit with force, air or water is expelled through these conduits under high pressure, creating impressive water jets that can reach several meters in height.
Gulpiyuri Beach
A unique natural phenomenon declared a National Monument in 2001. This small circular beach (about 50 meters) is unusual because it appears to be inland, sheltered by cliffs and vegetation, yet sea water enters through an underground conduit during high tide. It's one of the smallest beaches in the world with this unique characteristic.
