About Roman Aqueduct
One of the best-preserved Roman aqueducts in the world, built around 50 CE. This engineering marvel stands 29 meters high, stretches 818 meters, and consists of 166 arches made from 20,400 granite blocks - all assembled without mortar. It delivered water to the city for nearly 2,000 years until the mid-20th century.
