Spectacular 1st-century BC Roman theatre, one of the largest in Spain with capacity for 6,000 spectators. Discovered in 1988 and beautifully restored, featuring the innovative Rafael Moneo-designed museum that integrates archaeological remains with modern architecture. Open Oct-Apr: Tue-Sat 10am-6pm, Sun 10am-2pm; May-Sep: Tue-Sat 10am-8pm, Sun 10am-2pm. Admission: €6, students/seniors €5. Located at Calle Gisbert, 30202 Cartagena.
