Architectural Wonders of Burgos Cathedral

Begun in 1221 on the orders of King Ferdinand III of Castile and Bishop Mauricio, Burgos Cathedral reflects the French High Gothic style, crowned by twin 84-meter openwork spires designed by Hans of Cologne. Interior highlights include:
