A masterpiece of French-style Gothic architecture known as the "House of Light" for its 1,800 square meters of stunning stained glass windows from the 13th to 20th centuries. The cathedral was built on the site of Roman baths and an earlier Romanesque church. Its soaring interior features three naves, a beautiful choir, and the tomb of King Ordoño II, founder of the Kingdom of León.
