At the summit of the hill stands the Castillo de Gibralfaro, a 14th-century fortress built to protect the Alcazaba below and to house troops. A walled corridor known as La Coracha once linked the two, and you can still follow a path between them. Gibralfaro offers a postcard-perfect panorama of Málaga's bullring, harbor, and skyline.
